Thanks so much for coming by. I’m Jamie, better known as Rosey or RoseyGames across the internet, I use the pronouns she/her, and I identify as LGBTQIA+. Oh! And I am a writer and editor, which I imagine you knew if you’ve made it this far into my website.
I started writing when I was a kid and honed those skills as an undergraduate student, earning my bachelor’s degree in English with a focus on creative writing. From there, I wrote a few personal things, but stepped away from that world and into the world of leadership development, earning my Master’s degree on the topic and learning more about people, their roles in the world, and how to help folks become better versions of themselves.
Over the following several years, I slowly brought my love for creative writing, my huge nerdiness, and my desire to help other people together, founding an organization called Roll Play Lead. RPL used Dungeons & Dragons to support teens in their social skill development. Through RPL, I was able to publish my first D&D adventure, which runs like a traditional game, but has social skill development opportunities built into it.
My passion for developing diverse, challenging, and unique D&D writing grew from there. I believe that D&D can be fantastic and I’m fortunate enough to exist in a sphere with some epic creators who take D&D from what it is to where it needs to go; thoughtful folks who fold inclusivity into every corner of the game, challenging and changing the norm. I strive to not only follow in their footsteps, but to inspire them to walk along my path through my writing. Hiring me to write or edit for you means that you are taking a huge step in making more RPG spaces safe and welcoming for all folks.
It is my hope that I can work with you to create something amazing. I can’t wait to hear your ideas and give them life through the words I write for you.
